Save the Date!

June 1st.....the light that is at the end of my tunnel! I went to see the doctor today and everything looks good! I will be returning to work on June 1st, without restrictions.

My last day of physical therapy is May 20th, so I can return home anytime after that date. Now, I just need transportation!

I went to the church today to get my "mugshot" taken for our new church pictorial directory (try to say that three times fast)! I was not happy with any of the shots and several people said that they looked like high school poses. I ended up selecting the "least high schoolish" photo for the directory. Needless to say, I did not order any pictures.

It was good to see different staff members and catch up a bit with some of them. I realized even more how much I miss being around them!

I enjoyed a birthday celebration with a friend last night at Chili's where I renewed love for the White Chocolate Molten Cake... Pathetic that I am that easily pacified?!?! Not sure.... :-) The evening was very nice until I returned to my parents' house only to discover that I had locked myself out of the house! :-( I remembered that my brother was at his school rehearsing for a play, so I had my friend drop me off there. I caught up on some phone calls with friends who live out-of-state while waiting for Aaron to wrap things up and drive me home. All in all, not a bad birthday! I had a good day, but I am looking most forward to June 1st! :-)
